About Me

I am currently enrolled in the D4 Media Production program at Universitas Indonesia. Most of my time is spent learning the technical aspects of visual media and figuring out how to use it in real projects. It sounds straightforward, but it often feels a bit messy in practice. Being involved in different photography and video editing projects has probably taught me more than classes alone, especially when things do not go exactly as planned.

In recent times, my work has increasingly focused on photography and post-production. I often spend a considerable amount of time fine-tuning the colors, adjusting the tones, and, in some cases, completely reworking an image to achieve the desired result. In the traditional sense, it is not always about making things more esthetically pleasing. It appears more about recreating the original moment when the image was first taken. A simple photo taken in the late afternoon, for example, may appear flat without editing, but with careful color grading, it can begin to feel warm once more, or at least closer to my recollection.

I have worked on edits ranging from basic cuts to slightly more detailed video adjustments. Nothing too extreme, but enough to realize that even small decisions, such as pacing or transitions, can change a video’s experience. Some projects go smoothly, while others take longer than expected, and I am still figuring out why that happens.

I would not say that I have a clearly defined style yet, but maybe that is fine for now. It seems like something that develops over time rather than something you decide early on. At the moment, I am more focused on trying different approaches, learning from what works and what does not, and slowly shaping how I approach visual storytelling.
